Why travel in low season

  • Fewer tourists on the trails
  • Easier lodge availability
  • Lush green forest for photography
  • Discounted accommodation in many camps

Rainfall patterns in April, May, and November often mean short showers, not full day rain. Trekking continues daily. Gorilla families remain accessible year round.

Pair your gorilla trek with chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park for a complete primate safari.
